A love-poem to my wife

Would you marry me again? Well I cannot wait till when,
In the heavens up above,
Lies the message of our love.

So lucky as ever was I,
When I saw you I wanted to cry,
You gave us the chance to meet,
When I married you I was finally complete.

We started by going my way,
You followed me every day,
As we struggled to make it a go,
You understood and let it be so.

And if magazines were all we could afford,
As we drew our strength from our Lord,
We strived to do our best,
Would we finally pass the test?

Would you marry me again?
Well I cannot wait till when,
In the heavens up above,
Lies the message of our love.

And my heart went pitter patter,
When you told me size didn't matter,
And you gave me what I craved,
With my daughter I was saved.

As our journey followed through,
And my heart surrendered to you,
When you wanted something more,
I worked to even the score.

As your confidence began to soar,
I loved you even more,
And then I followed you,
As you had done me before.

Would you marry me again?
Well I cannot wait till when,
In the heavens up above,
Lies the message of our love.

The journey is not complete,
We have what no one can compete,
How can it get better from here?
I can think of many things my dear.

Let me take you by the hands,
As our lives drift through the sands,
And when we've finally had our say,
And Heaven has its way,
We'll still be hand in hand,
Death will not take its stand.

Will you marry me again?
Well I cannot wait till when,

In the heavens up above,
Lies the message of our love!
